ICT Equipment

Over the past several years the Board of Directors has recognised the importance of ICT and has supported the investment in technology across the school. We are very proud to have been awarded the British International School’s Award for Outstanding IT project, acknowledging the cutting edge programme that has been rolled out across our school since 2015. Our computing facilities are constantly expanding and our students now benefit from a one-to-one Chromebook programme across the Secondary School, supported by cutting edge technology including 3D Printers, Green Screens, Robotics and Virtual Reality. In Primary learning is extended and supported with Apple iPADS and a variety of ICT trolleys containing laptop computers. Primary school pupils also have access to Chromebooks from Year 5 as part of our transition programme.

This important learning strand is being led by the group´s Director of DIgital Learning, supported by Digital Learning coordinators in each school. This will allow King’s College Alicante to continue pioneer the latest technology for learning within the King’s Group of schools.

Sports Facilities

Physical education is a major area of extra curricular activity. It is considered a healthy way to develop pupils’ physical competence and confidence. It also promotes physical skillfulness, physical development and knowledge of the body in action.

Physical education provides opportunities for pupils to be creative, competitive and to face up to different challenges as individuals and in groups and teams. It promotes positive attitudes towards active and healthy lifestyles.

At the King´s College of Alicante, pupils have access to excellent sports facilities including: a 7-a-side artificial pitch, basketball and volleyball courts, a football sala pitch, a large Multi-Purpose Hall, tennis courts and an indoor gymnasium.
